The future of design with AI
Переглядів 5 тис.4 місяці тому
Everything we know is about to change. 7 years ago at Awwwards LA, I spoke on AI and how it was going to change human computer interaction. Now we're going to look ahead at what's coming again - not only for human computer interaction - but what our new roles will look like as designers and product leaders. Spoiler alert: it's going to be incredible. Peter leads Fantasy - the team behind some o...
Edan Kwan︱The Creative Coding Journey: Exploring Challenging Digital Experiences in 3D Spaces
Переглядів 2,1 тис.5 місяців тому
Awwwards Conference, Amsterdam 2023. This talk explores the excitingly elusive realm of creative digital design where the unseen becomes the most essential element. We dive into the technical, yet poetic, concept of creative coding and reveal the artistry in the 3D spaces, the interplay of absence and presence, the silence and the noise. Embrace the undefined, the enigmatic, and the cryptic as ...

Interesting stuff on the research front but I will say time is being invested into artificial personas with artificial behaviors. It might be useful for some preliminary work but at the end of the day researchers capture real human behavior. Sometimes we fail to notice these behaviors or their importance to products and businesses but once we do we can point everything we build toward that goal. There are whole fields devoted to neurology, psychology, sociology… and none of those fields have stopped finding new insights. So the notion of a prediction engine (filled with bias) fed an extensive list of demographics and behaviors (that need to be verified by real data at every level to avoid bias) can accurately churn out real human behaviors seems a bit, well, farcical. If you’re building a car, are you still going to have the human get in and drive it around? If you want to expand into other products but need to validate, are you going to bet on this or call a customer? I see the excitement here, just not the actual use case that doesn’t put a whole lot at risk. I see this tech being much more successful at what is immediately measurable in truth, like coding and visual and voice interfacing. Easy to see if the code is working or not. Easy for a designer to make little adjustments to a UI that was started by an ai. You’ll need a lot more data and tech advances to create accurate predictions in human behavior. We can’t even figure ourselves out and we gave the ai everything it knows! 😉
Why was the man yawning focused? To the people who don't know her, Margot has now a Domestica course (and I'm sure she would have many more resources out there) and she was a great tutor at explaining many details very impactfully! This was also a great talk going into a lot many details. Thankyou ma'am!
You should have to give link of web in discripition
Thank you Chris!! Very valuable information, each video I learn so much!
Very good stuff! Went to the web site, could not find any tools
Is UA-cam bugged? Are there no comments here? Great talk!

Amazing!!!!! ❤
if its hard its valuable, LOL try to learn brainfck, and see if you become millionaire by teach or make anything with it 😅
This is a very basic introduction to what product designers at most companies do every day. I hope they teach this to new designers, as what's shared in this video is useful to know -- but NOT at all a new concept. It's been quite a standard approach for 2 decades now
Hi Yuri, I'm getting errors on this awwwards course of yours that doesn't allow me to watch the videos even though I have already paid for the course.

"Our mission is to understand the reality" DARPA With Artificial Intelligence today we are fooled and tomorrow we will be doomed. We have a chance to live in a real world! I built usmXX -- ua-cam.com/video/RdW9qMq1wg0/v-deo.html -- the Power of XX as an Operating System for managing any informational problems. The system (ready 60% as a prototype) is based on only three concepts: Parameters of the problems, Subjects (not objects) and the Informational Individuals!
Awesome! Thank you Peter and Fi!
Monstro demais… saudades
Amazing
This was hilarious
i got the course, but it’s outdated. i’m encountering a lot of errors and the corrections i get from the updated codebase on github leads to more errors, wish this can be fixed cause it seems as a very nice course
where can we buy it

2:35 - “off the main thread”. That sounds like an awesome name for a podcast! Call it OTMT for short. 😅
Nice tutorial French Guy , keep it up
I loved this couple... They are doing their passion together. Their love for art is also sharing it with aspiring artists.
Great one. Thanks! 🔥
There's a way people think, and designers alongside engineers put these heuristics into use when building products. Awesome stuff.
Can't believe I lived 4 years without this talk and just found it now! :D Timeless lessons Cris!
haha same
great 🎉 i learn a lot
That magical moment when you come across that perfect, just released typeface after weeks of searching is why I do what I do.
Niccolò is a true artist, He know when to do it and how to do it ❤
I can't believe I just saw this 3 years later. This is super powerful. Great job!
